The increasing emphasis towards personal control over retirement funds has created the opportunity for investors to open schemes whereby they are in control of their pension fund investments.  Havelock Hunter Stockbrokers Ltd works in conjunction with Pension Managers to provide efficient execution of ‘Self-Select’ administered funds, as well as advising on investments contained within a pension wrapper.

Havelock Hunter Stockbrokers Ltd can assist with both SIPP and SSAS accounts, either through a direct intermediary agreement with the Pension Manager or through a direct advisory agreement with the underlying client, where a Pension Trustee company looks after the administration of the account.

We all expect this area of the market to increase still further, as the government continues towards reducing the current restrictions on these wrappers and moves closer towards retirement self-sufficiency.  We are very keen to develop this part of our business, in partnership with Pension Plan providers.
