Most of our clients place orders by telephone and will receive the best price possible for their order straight away. If you choose to place instructions by telephone, you will never be routed through call centres or requested to remain on hold for long periods.

Orders may also be transmitted in writing or by fax and we will endeavour to contact you if there has been any significant movement in prices in the interim or if we require any clarification of your order.

However you instruct us, we will always strive to improve on the current market prices and deal with your transaction quickly and efficiently.

Our experienced dealers will provide information on current volumes and order book depths, as well as any relevant announcements that might be influencing prices.

Once completed, the details of your transaction will be reported back to you immediately and, in most instances, this takes place within seconds of you placing your order. Contract notes and supporting paperwork detailing your transaction are despatched on the same day.

We are happy to deal for both Nominee Accounts and certificated clients alike. Our usual Settlement Period for clients who hold stock in their own name is T+10 (the trade date plus 10 working days). We are able to offer a greatly reduced settlement period for clients using our Nominee Service, where we can usually settle sales within 3 working days (T+3). Settlement proceeds from sales will be despatched by either BACS or cheque payment on settlement day. Clients requiring cleared funds quickly can ask to have the proceeds sent by CHAPS, which in most cases should provide cleared funds on the same day.
