Clients of Havelock Hunter Stockbrokers Ltd who elect to use the Nominee Service will automatically have dividends collected and credited against their individual Client Income Account. This account clearly shows all income generated on the portfolio and is safeguarded in accordance with the Financial Services Authority rules on holding client money. From here, the funds can either be used for reinvestment, or can be paid out by automated payment or cheque on a frequency suited to the client. Balances earn a healthy interest rate. This rate is variable and may change in accordance with the base rate. The interest rate is published on our interest rate card and is always available on our published rate card which is displayed in our offices and is available by request.

In addition to an Income Cash Account, clients may also wish to hold Client Deposit Account funds with us. These funds could stem from a lump sum initially deposited with us for future investment, or could result from sale proceeds waiting to be reinvested at the most appropriate time. Deposits held on this type of account also earn interest at our published rate. Funds and interest will be shown on the statements and Consolidated Tax Voucher received from Havelock Hunter Stockbrokers Ltd and are also visible from the Secure Client Site.

It is not necessary for clients to use the Nominee Service in order to open cash accounts with Havelock Hunter Stockbrokers Ltd. Clients may deposit funds for safekeeping or future investment and can elect for settlement proceeds to remain on deposit until a future investment is made. Clients who operate 'busy' trading accounts with Havelock Hunter Stockbrokers Ltd will appreciate this facility, as it removes the necessity for continual cash movements to and from a client's current accounts, as we maintain complete administration. Clients can access their funds at any time without penalty.

Interest accrues daily and is credited to client accounts on a quarterly basis.
